Utah and a Wedding 9/17 - 9/22/08

We had the opportunity to take a trip up to Utah for Matthew and Kathryn's wedding. Traveling 12+ hours at one time with a 4 month old didn't sound too appealing. Thanks to the Wiltbanks we got to stop in Cedar City and stay at their home there. Thanks Wiltbanks. We drove Wednesday after Jonathan went to work, stopped in Flagstaff for a quick visit with Holly and the girls and then slept that night in Cedar City. The dinner was Thursday night in Layton and we were in such a hurry to leave because we lost track of time that our dress clothes got left behind in Cedar City. Life goes on though. We are so glad that we were able to attend the sealing Friday morning in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. The temple is the most perfect place to be and there is no better feeling than being in the house of the Lord. The reception was beautiful that night. It was just so nice to be with family all weekend.

The sisters waiting for the newlyweds to come out of the temple. They were nice enough to play with Lucy and Raylin while we attended the sealing. Thanks so much Aunt Kerri, Aunt Michelle, and Aunt Laura. Sorry they both had dirty diapers and very few wipes.

First steps out in their new world together.

Jonathan loves to put flowers in my hair. Jodi and I decided to pose for the camera. Us sister-in-laws got to stick together.

We are so glad that we live so close to Dave, Jodi, and Lucy. It is going to be so fun watching those two little girls play together.

The fam. Dave, Lucy, Jodi, Melina, Raylin, Jonathan, Grandma Crosby, Kerri, Michelle, Laura, Kathryn, Matthew, Mom Crosby, Dad Crosby, Jared, Grandma Hendrickson, and Grandpa Hendrickson all there for the special day.

Extended fam. The added members include, Aunt Liesle, Uncle Travis, Aunt Sheri, Uncle Trent, Cousin Misty, Cousin Kyle, Uncle Kendall, and Aunt Marilyn. It was so fun to spend time with the Utah family. We don't get to see them as much.

Raylin loves her Great Grandma Crosby.

I love this picture. You can tell Jodi loves her new little baby Lucy, even after a full day of traveling. :)

Off to take more pictures or get ready for the reception.

We were privileged to be able to visit Jonathan's great grandmother after the reception for 5 generation pictures. The 5 generations include Lois Veone Barlow Hendrickson, Roger R Hendrickson, Becky Hendrickson Crosby, Jonathan Edwin Crosby, and Raylin Jeanette Crosby. The spouses include Grandma Shirlee, Grandpa Russell, and Melina.

All tuckered out. She had so much excitement that she didn't even care when her headband was in her face she just went to sleep anyway. Poor little girl's schedule got all thrown off.
Thanks Matthew and Kathryn for getting married. We had a lot of fun.
