4th of July Weekend 7/2-5/09

We finally got to go to Eagar for the 4th of July since we have been married. The first year I was in summer school trying to finish my degree as quickly as possible. The second year we had a Hendrickson family reunion in Utah. It was nice to get out of the heat and enjoy the festivities. When I was a little girl we always went to my dad's boyhood town of Boulder City, Nevada. I loved the parade and other activities that come along with a small town.


Here is Raylin's 4th of July hair. I thought it turned out cute. She was in awe of the parade. I am glad that she had to take a nap shortly after it started thought otherwise she would have had a nasty sunburn like another baby we saw the next day.

The night before the 4th we hung out at the Stroud's and attempted Sobe bombs. They did not work too great. This video is of one that blew up. Kind of scary.
